E-learning

E-learning can help reduce the barriers traditional training methods present:

  • Cost
  • Time
  • Availability of sessions

Staff productivity is maintained as training can be scheduled around their working priorities, making e-learning particularly suited to refresher or follow-up training.

There are two types of e-learning:

  • Instructor led
Using instructor led training e-learning tools, our implementation team will be able to promote online e-learning events that any Coldharbour user will be able to subscribe to.  The resulting training sessions will consist of a 'virtual' group of trainees, all learning directly from the convenience of their local PC.
  • Playback
Prerecorded, on demand training sessions will also be available for refresher training and to provide first time users with a valuable introduction to Coldharbour Systems including company background, product suite information and generic product features.

Collaborative learning

All training methods are relevant and as such Coldharbour Systems will provide a blended solution set, tailored to the specific requirements of each client.  Training will consist of traditional on-site sessions, e-learning with remote instructor led events as well as a portfolio of pre-scripted online  playback modules.

Whilst traditional classroom based training will continue to be used for detailed, client specific investigation processes, many areas of training and implementation can be more efficiently addressed using e-learning techniques.
