Roy Proctor C.Dir
Managing Director
Founded Coldharbour Systems: July 1986
Roy entered the IT industry in the late 1970s, spending his formative years with WH Smith, Kienzle Computers and DRG (Dickinson Robinson Group) Business Systems.
In July 1986 Roy and a partner founded Coldharbour Systems after a successful management buy-out. In 1995, after becoming Managing Director in 1991, Roy bought out his partner. Since this time, Roy has wholly owned the company.
Roy is married with three children. A real family business, Roy's wife Sharon is Company Accountant, his eldest son James is a programmer in the development department and his youngest son Jonathan, a part qualified accountant, works in the MIS department.
In May 2004, Roy qualified as a Chartered Director, setting a gold standard for the board to follow. Today we have three chartered directors on the board.
When not working or worrying about CPD (Continuing Personal Development) Roy leads a very active life, with four dogs and 22 acres of land. Interestingly, a large part of the filming for the TV series "Robin of Sherwood" took place over 12 acres of the woodland attached to Roy's home.
Having spent the last two years renovating two properties, Roy now looks forward to touring Europe with Eric Clapton (having just fitted an iPod adapter in his car for his forthcoming holiday!)
With the wildlife associated with his property Roy assured us that there is never a dull moment...

Outside work Mike enjoys motor sport and races karts with Steve (they do bicker as to who's quicker!), and is married with two sons.

Steve Wilson C.Dir
Technical Director
Joined Coldharbour Systems: July 1987
Steve has worked with computers since the early 80s, before the birth of the personal computer (PC)! Originally trained in electronic engineering, Steve joined Coldharbour as an analyst/programmer. At this time he became involved in and wrote the first versions of HOMECARE for DOS products.
Over the last 20 years Steve has helped to transform Coldharbour from a small company of eight people to the market leading supplier. With the escalating growth of the company, he now manages the support and implementation teams. Steve is responsible for all aspects of customer system development, training, project management and on-going support.
In September 2005, Steve qualified as a Chartered Director.
Outside of work, Steve is married with two children and is also a keen kart racer. (Steve stresses that he is ‘keen' but not always quick!)
